Meals
During your placements, you can have access to the onsite restaurant or benefit from meal tickets under the same conditions as the permanent staff.
Absence
You must immediately inform your Hays Travail Temporaire consultant of any absence, as well as the staff at the company where you are carrying out your placement.
Hays Travail Temporaire is your employer. In case of an accident at work, we must file a claim. In order to do this, you must contact our accounts department on 01.45.26.62.31, within a maximum of 48 hours.
Public holidays (and ‘extra days’ taken between two public holidays or a public holiday and a weekend)
As the law states, temporary workers as well as permanent staff are paid for public holidays and any ‘extra days’, provided that they are work the day before and after the public holiday and ‘extra days’ concerned.
Nevertheless, the law for a 35-hour week led businesses to fixing compulsory shorter working weeks. If the ‘extra days’ come under a shorter working week, and you do not therefore benefit from a shorter working week, you will not get paid for it. A possibility is also to cumulate a credit of hours, so that you do not lose this day. The request must be made to the client.
The public holiday, itself, is paid if the temporary worker is present the day before and after.
Update your records
In order to maximise job offers, we ask you to regularly update your CV and send it to us.
We also request that you inform us of dates you would be available to work and any changes to status or personal details.
In order to communicate more effectively, please send us your e-mail address.
Medical visits
You must provide us with written proof of a medical visit within six months. If need be, written notification will be sent to you. You must reply to this notification, in order to avoid the penalties outlined in Articles R 241-49 and R 241-50 in the Work Code of Conduct.
A medical visit is compulsory before starting any jobs in the Temporary business.

Timesheets
Timesheets show the hours completed by the temporary worker as agreed by the client. At the end of each week, you are obliged to send us the two yellow copies of your timesheets signed and sealed by the client by post or hand-delivered to 22 Rue d’Athènes – 75009 PARIS. You should keep the blue copy. The white copy is to be kept by the client. A fax will not be acceptable except for the last month’s timesheet (01 48 78 30 13).
When a week covers a two-month period, please fill in two timesheets, one for each month. Each timesheet must be sent to us within 48 hours after the last working day. All timesheets sent after this date will be dealt with the following month.
You are responsible for ensuring that both copies of the timesheet are sent to Hays TT within the specified time period.
Do not make any change to the timesheet once it has been signed by the client; if you have made a mistake, speak to your Hays TT representative. All changes, whether it is deleted or altered, must be authorised by the client. A timesheet different to that of the client will not be accounted for.
Furthermore, make sure that all requested information is clearly indicated; an incomplete or illegible timesheet can delay payment.

Payment
It is essential that you send us your bank details to carry out payment.
Your pay is calculated on a monthly basis and will be paid to you on the 15th of each month. The reference period is from the first to the last day of the month, except for those paid on an hourly basis, which will be calculated based on the number of hours worked each month. The gross salary is never the same and rarely identical to the stated salary. This is divided by the number of hours given by the client in order to have the hourly tax rate.
Our pay department will transfer your salary directly into your bank account, based on the timesheets they have received.
Your pay slip will be available on the 15th of the following month (or the nearest working day); after this date it will be sent you by post.
The transfers are carried out by our bank 48 working hours before the 15th of the month, in order for the money to be in your account on time. This allows for the time it takes for the banks to credit your accounts. In some cases this may be longer, we recommend that you check the timescales with your own bank.
Advances
You can request an advance of up to 70% of the hours you have worked. Paid leave, expenses, overtime, bank holidays, and other extra costs are not calculated in the advance. It is imperative that all requests are sent to the accounts department before the 25th of the month, preferably by mail to acomptes@hays.fr or by fax to 01 48 78 30 13. In order for the advance to be transferred to your account on the last working day of the month, we must receive your timesheets no later than the day before the last working day of the month before 5pm.
Administrative documents
Our administration department is only authorized to do documents/letters for the ASSEDIC, resumption of work, employment certificate …
You can request any of the above by mail to serviceadm@hays.fr or by fax to 01 49 95 99 72
